The Uniform Code of Admiralty Conduct was a Peacekeeper set of rules and regulations governing everything from basic military operations, standards, and protocols up through special legal process. Captain Miklo Braca invoked the UCAC to remove Commandant Mele-On Grayza from command due to erratic behavior she was exhibiting during during an operation, citing that she was putting her own interests above those of the Peacekeepers. ("We're So Screwed - La Bomba")

NotesEdit

  • The Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) is a federal law, enacted by the United States Congress. Its provisions are contained in United States Code, Title 10, Chapter 47. Article 36 of the UCMJ allows the President of the United States to prescribe rules and procedures to implement the provisions of the UCMJ. The President does this via the Manual for Courts-Martial (MCM) which is an executive order that contains detailed instructions for implementing military law for the United States Armed Forces. It is likely that the Peacekeeper Uniform Code of Admiralty Conduct (in name) is an intentional tribute in Farscape to the UCMJ.
