Transport pods are small unarmed craft typically found in service to Leviathans. Transport pods are multi-role ships that can be used to transport just about anything, as demonstrated by Moya's crew. They are made from the same biomechanoid material as Leviathans such as Moya but are not sentient like a leviathan. They are alive but need to be manually controlled by a pilot and/or crew. Moya grows these pods are grown by Moya in her Transport hangars. Pilot's control over each Pod is limited to monitoring onboard systems and communicating with passengers. Everything else depends on the flight crew. The pods need to stay in regular contact with Moya. If they stay away from her for more than a few days they will die.
