Dr. Jean Kaminsky was a psychiatrist who worked with IASA and existed in a Scarran-created simulation meant to break John Crichton's mind. She bore a remarkable resemblance to Zhaan. Seeing this, Crichton tried to question her to get her to admit that she was not human. Her answers were evasive, however, as she claimed to be an immigrant with a green card and answered many of Crichton's questions with questions of her own.
Kaminsky's manner soon became much less professional as the simulation turned more sinister and surreal in an effort to break John's mind. She ignored John's screams as he broke down, and later had him tied up in a dominatrix-style situation.
