Finnej was a Ytrehoddish who lived on the moon Egrof and was a lieutenant of prospective crime lord Kitrap. Kitrap sent Finnej to meet with Ka D'Argo after D'Argo offered his services to either Kitrap or his rival Esseret on the advice of Jool. D'Argo, however, sent Finnej and Esseret's representative away, refusing to meet with anyone other than Kitrap and Esseret themselves, another step in Jool's plan.
