John Clarence was an alias taken by John Crichton when he met with his younger self during his trip back to 1985. As "John Clarence", Crichton tried to convince his young self to stop his father from being part of the doomed Challenger mission.
Crichton used this alias along with "Fred Scarran" during his visit.
